holy crap its freakin freezing inside my house.

here's a rundown of things that have gone on since i moved back to VA:

Our little albino died shortly after us moving in. I was halfway expecting it to happen because everyone said that your first albino always dies. They say it's because of the weak genes or it's a curse. I think it was just the plain fact that it was just too young to handle the stress of moving. :[

Danny got a job as a mechanic. He's super happy about it but i still can't get the smell of car grease out of his clothes...

I had the "privilege" of a seasonal job at Toys R Us, it was horrible, shame on everyone who did their toy shopping on Christmas eve and then got pissy with me for not having what you wanted in stock.

After surviving Christmas day with Danny's Italian family, I've been dubbed "Aah-Knee" (sound it out) instead of "An 'E'" because I was successfully assimilated into their super Italian family ways, mushrooms and all.

i had sushi for the first time in a year about a week ago. i forgot how slimy it is.. but the avocado roll was fucking awesome.

We spent New Years Eve at our friend Sasha's house, we set off fireworks, watched the ball drop, the works.

you know how some seasons pass by without you really noticing? I just realized it was January this morning. I was somehow still in the mindset that it was November..

le sigh, back to the daily grind of chores and job applications.

our friend Virginia had been missing since October 26, she had not called or visited anyone and was reported missing on November first.

her husband Soyer was brought in for questioning yesterday morning, on their daughters first birthday, and confessed to murdering Virginia after a domestic dispute.

yesterday evening, the police and investigators searched the woods behind her husbands house and found her body buried in a shallow grave.

he is currently in jail, charged with murder, and has no bail set.

her body is awaiting autopsy at Onslow county general hospital.

their one year old daughter Naomi is going to have to go through the foster care system just like Virginia did.

i still cannot wrap my head around this.

no one understands how precious life is anymore.

i love tea because tea is good

i found a five dollar bill laying on the ground outside of Best Buy today so i preordered Sims3. i hope i hope i hope that its worth the zero effort that i had to go through


not much else to talk about. work is awesome. cleaning animal cages all day without gloves really dries out the skin on my arms so i have awesomely huge calluses now.

tomorrow i get my paycheck, and i shall spend it on awesome things.

is a sonofabitch.

I felt GREAT this morning. I really felt like I could go out for a walk and frolic with life. As soon as noontime rolled around i got struck with a 102 fever, and i've been getting progressively deaf in my left ear all day! i feel so lopsided without my ear working :[

i dunno what i did to screw up my karma so bad.

BUT, thank science for making amazing medicine because i can open my eyes without seeing fire and move around the house now.

on a cheerful note, i found this guy who takes stuffed animals, guts them, turns the fabric inside out and re-stuffs them. the results are really kind of creepily cute. i just wouldn't want one of them chillin on my shelf next to my bed.
